January 11th, 2010

Another great day, going 3-0 with Baltimore looking like a scary team to face. As a late play we like Cleveland to walk over an injured Portland team, that without their 2 top centers will struggle against O'Neal, Varejeo, and Ilgauskas.

Overall: 72-34
NCAAB: 20-9-2 NBA: 11-3 NFL:4-3-1 NCAAF: 3-0 NHL: 33-19 SOCCER: 1-0

NCAAB: San Jose State +8.5
NHL: Minnesota ML, San Jose RL, Vancouver RL

Jeffrey, I don't know man. Personally, I probably would just leave the Vancouver game alone then. Even the SJ game you do not get great odds and LAK do have close games against them. The reason that I would still bet the SJ game is that Ersberg is the projected starter for LA tonight. The reason that i bet Regulation Line is because I feel that if the game went to Overtime or the crapshoot shootout that my analysis was wrong anyways. I mean you could think about parlaying the two Money Lines together, but obviously a smaller play then you usually would. Another option is to play San Jose -1.5 and Vancouver -1.5, on seperate bets. that way, if one of the two is correct you make a profit still. So, I definitely would not bet Van ML just because the odds are so small. San Jose I may. Sorry my friend, no definite answer I guess, but these are options to consider. Good Luck and hope to see you around when the new site is up and running.

alright man, I'm heading out right now till game time. So, I'm not sure if you have locked in yet. But the Vancouver -1.5 sketches me out a bit because Nashville goaltending has been so good lately. If anything, I would be more inclined to take SJ -1.5. However, if you have locked in, you could still easily win both bets as everyone can see how Vancouver's offense is rolling right now. Hopefully the canucks come out firing after the 3-2 loss to Calgary. Good luck man.

Jeff, the more I think about it, the more I like your Van -1.5 suggestion. It's not a play for me, but it makes sense. I mean Van is only a point ahead of Nashville so they will definitely be up for the game. Also, they are by far the better team. I like it. Good Call.
